What exactly is MailboxPet?

MailboxPet is a personalized pet wellness subscription service. You take a quick health quiz about your pet — their age, size, breed, and health goals — and we curate a monthly box of vet-informed supplements specifically matched to their needs. Think multivitamins, probiotics, joint support, digestive enzymes, skin and coat formulas, and more, all delivered to your door every month.

Are your supplements safe for my pet?

Absolutely. Every product in a MailboxPet box is formulated with veterinary guidance and contains only ingredients with clinical research behind them. We do not include fillers, artificial additives, or anything we wouldn't give our own pets. All formulas are manufactured in facilities that meet strict quality control standards.

Do you support cats as well as dogs?

Yes! Our quiz supports both dogs and cats. The supplement selections are species-specific — cats have very different nutritional needs than dogs, and we account for that in every recommendation.

Should I consult my vet before starting supplements?

We always recommend keeping your veterinarian in the loop about any supplements you're adding to your pet's routine — especially if your pet is on prescription medications or being treated for a specific condition. Our supplements are designed to complement a healthy lifestyle and are not intended to replace veterinary care.

What supplements might be in my pet's box?

Based on your quiz results, your box may contain any combination of the following: daily multivitamins, probiotic blends, glucosamine and chondroitin for joint health, omega-3 fatty acids for skin and coat, digestive enzymes, calming supplements, immune support formulas, and age-specific health boosters. Every selection is based on your individual pet's profile.

How do I give the supplements to my pet?

Every supplement in your box comes with clear dosing instructions on the packaging. Many of our products are flavored (chicken, beef, or bacon) and can be given as a treat or mixed into food. Capsules can be opened and sprinkled over meals. We design our products to be as easy as possible to incorporate into your pet's daily routine.

Can I customize what's in my box?

Yes. After completing your quiz, you can review your recommended products and make changes before your first box ships. You can also update your pet's profile at any time through your account to adjust future boxes as your pet's health needs change.

What if my pet has allergies?

Our quiz specifically asks about dietary restrictions and sensitivities. If your pet has known allergies (e.g., to chicken, grains, or specific proteins), we will exclude any products containing those ingredients. If you're unsure, please contact our support team and we'll help you navigate the safest options.

How does the subscription work?

You choose a plan (monthly, 6-month, or 12-month), complete the pet health quiz, and we ship a customized box to your door every month. Your card is charged automatically on your chosen billing cycle. You can skip a month, pause, modify, or cancel at any time from your account — no phone calls required.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, absolutely. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel your MailboxPet subscription at any time through your account dashboard with just a few clicks. If you cancel after a box has already shipped for the month, that box cannot be refunded, but no future charges will be made.

Can I change my plan later?

Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, pause, or modify your subscription at any time through your account. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. If you're unsure which plan is right for you, start monthly — you can always switch to a longer commitment to save more.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes. We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on your first box. If your pet doesn't take to the supplements or you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 7 days of receiving your first box and we will make it right — refund, replacement, or exchange.

Shipping & Delivery

When will my first box ship?

Your first box is typically processed within 1-3 business days of your order. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as it ships. Delivery times vary by location but are generally 3-7 business days after shipment.

Is shipping included?

Yes! Free shipping is included on all subscription plans, regardless of which plan you choose. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States. We are actively working to expand to Canada and additional international markets. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when international shipping becomes available.
